COUSINS!!!!

We are FINALLY getting cousins! David's sister and her husband are having a baby (girl named Ella) this May and my sister and Jimmy announced this weekend that they have a little one coming in October!!! We are SO EXCITED for them (of course aunt Julie thinks it has to be a girl and is already scouting good places to buy and order bows). I really can't believe Carol didn't let it out of the bag. She has known for almost 2 months. I talk to her every day and she never said a word!!!! We are so excited to have these little additions to our family . The holidays will be so fun for my boys, they are the only kids on both sides. God is GOOD!!

Happy Birthday Grant!!!!!

WOW! It is so hard to believe that Grant is one year old today! It seems like yesterday we were at the hospital with him. This year has gone by so fast and we are so thankful for that little guy. He brings us tons of joys each day. He is always happy and adores his big brother. He is starting to walk a little more each day (mainly to keep up with Tate) and he has even started saying "Ta!" for Tate. Happy birthday, baby! We love you SO much!!!!

Easter

This weekend we celebrated Easter with David's family. His sister and brother in law were here and we got to spend alot of time with them. Like most Easter's in Texas it was a cool and windy day to be outside hunting eggs but Tate enjoys the fact that he is the only egg hunter and really had fun seeing what the Easter bunny hid.

Brothers

DOES THIS LOOK SAFE TO YOU????

Tate and David in a tree at the hunting lease........This is not safe but mom was not there to give her two cents.

Golf Lessons

Tate has been taking golf lessons at our neighborhood golf course for the last few months. He really seems to enjoy it. Most of the kids are a little older than he is but he loves Coach Brandon and he always seems to listen to what he has to say ( I wish I had that effect on him). Neither David or I were very good at team sports and he has his daddy's petite build ( is it wrong that I wish I had my husband's body?) so we thought golf would be a good ball sport option for him. Of course he will still hunt and fish and probably prefer that more just like David, but I like golf as a nice, clean hobby. My parents were in town last weekend and my dad went with him to his lesson. He said he is doing great and Daddo is not biased at all!
