Playing with scissors

On Saturday night Tate decided he wanted to cut his hair. He says it's because he "wanted to be bald". Before you ask "where were you, Julie" I was tending to Grant and getting ready for a nice dinner out with David. We were just about to leave to take the kids to Nana and Babbo's house when Tate comes upstairs and shows me his work. I screamed and he immediately starting saying "I'm sorry! I'm sorry! I'm sorry!!!!" We didn't have time to take him to get his head shaved then (and don't own any clippers, except for dog clippers) so we thought his punishment would be that he had to wear his choppy haircut to church and the Superbowl party then we would shave it on Monday. He was fine with that and didn't seem to bothered by it at church or the party. So here he is-BALD! I really don't like it at all, but the good thing is his hair grows really fast!

oh my goodness Tate it looks like you're going in the witness protection program. It's a good thing your head is so cute! I love you lots!

Well at least you've crossed that Bridge. It does grow fast and you'll save on haircuts for a while. Don't let him get ahold of Grant.

He's actually a lot cuter than most dudes with shaved heads! :)

Julie, That is hilarious!!!!!! Tate is precious!!! As punishment, I would have used the dog clippers. (Just kidding, but that would have been funny!) Love seeing your family grow.

Tate looks way older with the bald head. I didn't even notice his choppy hair on Sunday! Do you think he learned a lesson, or is he just excited to have a bald head?

I'm heading right now to put away all of our scissors. That is classic! You'll look back one day and get a good laugh out of it.

Oh girl!! That is SOOO funny! I just can't believe it happened to you before me. LOL! Do you remember the post about Griffin's hair, when Rick cut it all off and I cried and cried. He looked like he had cancer & it made me so sad to see him. Too funny!! I will have to show my boys.
